This essay really surprised me. I didn't really expect a discussion of God by a famous scientist. I knew he struggled and discussed his faith often, but had never read such a candid conversation by him about the topic. I tend to agree with him as well, as I think he is probably right about the importance of justice and goodness. I am less sure about his belief that a god wouldn't care, but definitely understand where he is coming from. I'm not sure what to think now, but I definitely am going to read more about this idea now.
